PAWS values the professional development of its members
Every year PAWS hosts a public speaking workshop and monthly seminars for its members.
Our public speaking workshop is with Kathryn Kellner, a strategic communications consultant and educator who helps PAWS members with academic-related public speaking.
The monthly seminars consist of a faculty or in industry professional coming to speak to our members about their professional experiences, with an emphasis on issues specific to being a woman and/or part of an underrepresented group in STEM.
