I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in organic/polymer chemistry. I received my B.S. in chemistry here at the University of Arizona. I am currently working in the Pyun group to synthesize unique hybrid materials used to advance optical imaging, specifically with magnetic nanocomposites and chalcogenide containing polymers. Outside of the lab, I love to be outdoors, hang out with friends, and spend time with my pup. I’ve recently had the privilege of becoming a member of the PAWS community and very excited to see what this year will bring. As a collective, we hope to make a difference and inspire all women in STEM.
